CD Teaser

Next time you throw away your old Cd's, think again!

In almost every spread behind a boat, you will find some sort of teaser or enticer to put fish in a feeding mode while youre trawling for Yellowtail or othe pelagic species like Dorado, Tuna and Marlin.

There are plenty of variations on this subject, and they all work. Problem is that some of the teaser available, are not found in our Tackle shops, or too expensive because of import taxes and so on.

Well, I recently cut up a couple of old Cd's into small fish like shapes, and connected them into a daisy chain to see how they perform in the water. There is no doubt that the flashing action of the CD will stir up sleepy fish, and I cannot wait to test it out in summer, when the Tuna, Yellowtail and Marlin arrive on our doorstep. I have hooked up 7 in a string, about 500-1000mm apart, to stagger them, and will attach a medium weight Spoon to the back to add stability at about 5kts trawling speed.
